Remington Africa Limited is an organization that provides below the line marketing services for corporations with interests in the agribusiness sector as well as capacity building trainings for farmers groups. Corporations benefit by introducing new and innovative products to the farmers with ease. Agriculture contributes 26 % of our gross domestic product making it the backbone of our economy. In order to achieve the vision 2030 more needs to be done in the agricultural sector. Our unique value proposition is to provide an avenue where farmers and corporations interact.
We have since organized; The Kiambu Dairy Farmers Summit and Expo which took place at the Loreto Limuru grounds. The Summit attracted over 1,000 farmers as well as 30 corporates in the dairy value chain. We also organized for the Kiambu Poultry Farmers Summit and Expo in partnership with Farmers Tv at the Wangige Primary School which attracted over 800 farmers as well as 22 corporates in the poultry value chain. We also organized the Murang’a Dairy Farmers Summit and Expo at Ihura Stadium in Muranga. Over 1300 farmers as well as 23 exhibitors participated in the event.
In 2018 we have since organized the Nyandarua Dairy Farmers Summit which took place at Wakirogo Stadium in Miharati. Over 1000 farmers as well as 18 exhibitors participated in the event. On April 20th 2018, we organized the Nakuru Dairy Farmers summit and Expo at Molo Stadium in Molo town. The Summit attracted 953 farmers as well as 25 exhibitors. On 14th June, 2018 recently we organized the Uasin Gishu Dairy Farmers Summit and Expo at the Eldoret Polytechnic Grounds where 1200 farmers from the six sub counties of Uasin Gishu participated. On 27th July 2018 we organized an exclusive farmer’s event for Wefarm Kenya dubbed as the Wefarm- Kericho Farmers field day at the Kericho Teachers Training College in Kericho Town. The field day attracted 700 farmers as well as 10 exhibitors. We have been working with Wefarm Kenya for one year and have assisted them to sign up approximately 10000 farmers on their platform. On August 3rd 2018 we organized the Nandi Dairy Farmers Summit and Expo at Nandi ASK grounds.
The summit attracted 800 farmers as well as 18 exhibitors. The Governor of Nandi County was the guest of honor during the Nandi Dairy Farmers Summit and expo. On 28th September we successfully organized the Bomet Dairy Farmers Summit & Expo at New Bomet Stadium. The event attracted 1180 farmers as well as 25 corporations in the agricultural value chain. We have since organized the Transmara and Trans-Nzoia farmers expos that attracted 800 and a 1000 farmers respectively.
